Carolina Beach Elementary comes together for one of our favorite CBES traditions: the Sea Star Shuffle!

This year, we’re shifting to FALL!

The Shuffle is our primary annual fundraiser a fun-filled school-wide event where our students run laps around Mike Chappell Park while teachers, families, and our community cheer them on.

But the Sea Star Shuffle is about so much more than running.

It's about school spirit, healthy movement, community, and giving our students opportunities to learn, explore, and shine

Families get to cheer on their Sea Stars.

Teachers and staff get to celebrate their students.

We have opportunities for families, friends and our local business community to invest directly in the school and the children who call Carolina Beach home.

We're investing in tools that allow students to learn, create, experiment, and explore.

- Other innovative classroom technology

We want our students to have opportunities to ask questions, solve problems, build, create, and think critically.
Sea Star Shuffle funds help provide hands-on STEAM materials and resources that bring learning to life.

Classroom Science Resources
Teachers know what their classrooms need.
Funds raised help provide hands-on science materials and resources requested by our educators to enhance instruction and create engaging learning experiences.

Weather Proofing PE outdoor space
Without a gymnasium our students are forced to move into a class room for PE in inclement weather.

Programs include but are not limited to:

- BrainPOP/BrainPOP Jr. 5th & 3rd
- IXL- Math and ELA for K-5
- Seesaw - Instructions & Insight for Site
